Dr. Wineland, a Connecticut native, enthusiastically returns to the community in which she grew up. Dr. Wineland attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and returned to Connecticut to attend medical school at the University of Connecticut. In June 2010, Dr. Wineland completed a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina where she was awarded the Lawrence L. Lester Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement (2010), the J. Marion Sims Award for Surgical Excellence (2010) , the Minimally Invasive Surgery Award for Outstanding Skill in Advanced Operative Laparoscopy (2010), as well as various awards for medical student teaching from the Medical University of South Carolina and Berlex.

Dr. Wineland’s interests are in obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedure.
